Due to the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional conference, the "International Colloquium on Plastics Technology", will completely switch to a digital format.

The world of plastics will be exchanging information for the 30th time at the 'International Colloquium on Plastics Technology' from September 8 to 11, 2020.

Participants can expect a total of 15 lecture sessions at the Colloquium, each consisting of two lectures by IKV scientists and a keynote lecture by an expert from the  industry. Thematically, the sessions cover the entire range of IKV research. In addition, plenary lectures by speakers from science and industry will focus on special trend topics. The complete sessions will be shared with the community via live transmission from the IKV and the contents will be put up for discussion. Networking opportunities will be provided by forums and topic rooms, which, just like the lectures and all components of the digital supporting programme, will be accessible via a specially developed Internet platform.

Cristoph Hinse, Managing Director of SimpaTec, will be the moderator ithroughout the session "New Potentials of Foam Injection Molding" on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, 4.30 pm.
