Software for the simulation of injection moulding processes
We are an official representative for the injection moulding simulation
program Moldex3D.
The simulation tool Moldex3D is a whole suite of modules for the simulation
of injection moulding processes and can therefore be tailor-made for your
requirements.
With Moldex3D almost all aspects of injection moulding can be simulated, starting
with the filling analysis over the packing phase to the analysis of the mechanical
behaviour, isotropic as well as an-isotropic. Also special methods, as, for
example, cascade injection moulding, RIM or gas injection technique are taken
in consideration.
The design of the tool cooling system is also possible as well as the transmission
of the total results to the structural mechanic programs.
This way it becomes possible, to optimise your operating processes already
before production.
Moldex3D offers you two products
2,5D-Simulation
The 2,5D-simulation is based on the so-called 2,5D or shell technology. This
for now 20 years successful technology has been known for fast and stable
calculations for shell components parts.
3D-Simulation
3D-Simulation uses a real 3D-technology and may be used for all component parts.
The use is therefore independent of the geometry. The 3D-Simulaton allows
the use of already existing 3D CAD data, which for the calculation are simply
imported and in dependence of the simulation results can be optimised for
production.
Optimisation of your production processes
There are numerous advantages resulting from the use of simulation software
at an early stage of production development.
- It is guaranteed that the workpiece mould can be produced with
the required properties e. g. tolerances and surface qualities
- Optimisation of processes already during the production development
as well as during production e.g., along with an optimisation of
the cooling, results in an acceleration of the production cycle.
- Cost savings by discontinuation of the manufacture of prototypes
and test casts, as possible corrections can be carried out more quickly
already in the simulation.
- Virtual manufacturing of components without further costs in the
simulation phase.
